I Continue

I'm baaaack!! *grins* Did ya miss me? Awww come on, you can admit it! I know no one else is around so the secret is safe with me! *chuckles*

Ok,so now to continue where I left off last night. He then had to fax to them the last paycheck from the old job. It finally got us some money they owed us!!!!!! It came just in time and we were able to pay the rent. He got the first paycheck from his new job and we were able to pay our internet/phone and water bill for the month.

After being off work for 28 days hubby finally found a job. Any job is better than no job but it still sucks. It's only a part-time job at a big chain where money is everything. We were barely surviving when he had a full time job and he was unable to find a part-time job to bring in more money. We hope we can get money in the bank every week again so we're not constantly behind in our bills. We used up all our savings when he was out of work. *heaves a big sigh* It didn't help anything that just a couple of days after he had no job, our car broke down. I had to ask the dumb rhetorical question, "Does it never end?!" The fuel pump had gone out and cost us $550 which was about half of our savings. That hurt us when we least needed to be hurt.

I went to the doc today for my once every 3 month visit. As usual it was a joy. *yes that's sarcasm* LOLOL It really, really hurts bad to ride in a car. The vibration is what gets me the most and hot on the heels of that is noise from all the other cars and general noise that exists in the big wide world. It means that my pain level has been higher than normal today and will most likely be the same tomorrow or possibly even a bit higher. It will be raining again tomorrow like it was today. That was the 2nd thing behind the car vibration that made me hurt more too. I am the best weather predictor in the world! *grins* Anyone with RSD is pretty much right on when there's bad weather coming. We can feel it when it's still some way off. RSD works a lot like arthritis or rheumatism.

Despite my slightly higher pain level today, I screwed up the courage to shave my legs. I hear you over there! You're saying What??!! She had to screw up the courage to shave?! Yup, I did. It's one of the perks of having RSD, being very sensitive to touch and/or air on the skin. Something simple for most people, things I know they take for granted, become a really BIG deal for us. I can only take a bath, never a shower, because the water from the shower hitting my skin feels like a bazillion little knives stabbing me. It's the closest I can come to explaining what I feel. I can't even find the words for how the razor scraping across my skin feels like. The slightest bit of air blowing across my skin, arms, hands, legs or feet, hurts like bloody hell!!! It also makes the muscles feel tight and achy and my joints start to ache as well. Sometimes the combo of things I feel in my body almost feels like I have a fever or something. Other words that describe my pain are sharp, shooting, stabbing. It moves all through my body. I can have horrific pain in my leg then it'll ease up a bit and get real bad somewhere else.

I'm going to stop for now. It's taken me awhile to write this. Be back tomorrow night!
