Things That Tick Me Off

There's an RSD board that I won't name directly but OMG they are the biggest bunch of a**holes!!! Any board should be for support, you should be able to talk to one another, share websites related to your disease, condition or whatever. This particular board are run by friggin nazi's!! You can't post any other websites, you can't contact one another, no posting email addy, no pm system, no posting pics, no telling someone to do a search for a particular phrase!!!! For example, someone wants to know more about rsd and skin lesions. You can tell them whatever you want but you better not say at the end, if you do a search for rsd and lesions you'll get lots of sites on it, or go to so and so site cause they have articles on it. OH NO....if you do that they'll delete the "offensive" suggestion or website and people have been banned over less than that!

I love helping other people, making them laugh, giving them the benefit of all the reading I do, my own experiences and experiences and stories I've heard from others over the years. Having rsd is bad enough, it's even worse when you feel like you're the only one in the world then find out you're not alone at all. That something you're feeling or experiencing is shared by a lot of other people and you're not crazy at all, just normal. Well, what passes for normal with rsd anyway. When you're first diagnosed it's very overwhelming for a person and quite frightening. They do searches but don't always know the best way to word things to find reputable sites. They end up coming across sites with outdated and unhelpful information or downright fallacies. Of course that kind of thing scares them even more. RSD is scary enough without adding to it.

This board takes the cake though with their nazi ways. The list of no's are twice as long as the list of what is allowed. I don't think I'll be going back to it for awhile as much as it might kill me. I feel like I'm abandoning the others there. I go in tonight and all my posts had been moderated for "unnecessary quotes". WTF??? I quoted the person's post I was answering so they'd know I was talking to them considering how many people I was talking to on that one thread. I've never in my life been told I'm quoting another's post unnecessarily! The a**hole mod leaves a post that says, "quit quoting posts and try using the quick reply button". Go *&%#$ yourself. I've been posting the same way on that same board for the last 4 years and all of a sudden it's a frigging problem?!?! Whatever....it seems every time I turn around the choice of groups to find support at are shrinking. You find more idiots and insincere people than anyone willing to actually get support from, or worse yet....bickering and back stabbing. Maybe I just need to take a break from everything for awhile. It's all just pissing me off. When I feel like this, I guess I need time off and away.

I guess I'll just come post here about whatever and be my own support. LOLOL
