Good Evening!

Figured I'd get my rear end over here and do a post before I got too tired to do one. Last night I was in a BIG BIG rush to try and get as many names as I could before my ancestry subscription ran out. Rather I had to cancel. :-( I really hate them for making you pay so much money to get access to anything. There so called "free databases" are a joke! You see the name and bare info but can't see the actual census if you aren't a "paying member". You can't get pictures, even PUBLIC member trees you have to pay to see it! I think maybe it's worth it for some things but the trees and census' should be available and FREE. It's so frustrating because I have to stop researching not knowing when I'll be able to get back to it again. *big sigh*

Yesterday was somewhat of an upsetting day for me. Shanni killed a bird. It came out of nowhere too. I'm sitting on the couch and I see something in the air swooping and then Shanni jumped up. I look up and she had hit the bird out of the air and had picked it up in her mouth! OMG I really freaked out screaming and crying. It's a very good thing Gil was home when it happened. I'm not sure I could've gone out and picked the bird up. I hope it'll never happen again. I'm a softy when it comes to animals. Well, if it has fur or feathers. I don't care about ants, lizards, snakes, spiders...etc. *shivers* Especially the 2 S words there. *shivers again* I can't even look at pictures of them!

Speaking of animals and bugs, Miss Shanni got a couple of lizards the other day. The pea brained things still haven't realized that if you come round here Shanni will get you! I am quite tickled that the squirrels seem to be coming back around again. :-D They make for the most amusement. I can only figure they don't like our hot, humid, muggy summer either! LOL I don't blame them because I hate it too. It's a bit like trying to breathe a thick soup and the temp is about the feel of hot soup too! LOL

My wrist is hurting bad tonight so I'll stop here before I can't type at all.
